For TWR's main blend of Pinot Noir they prefer the flavour profiles from the southern side of Marlborough - this sub-region is called the Southern Valleys or Southern Clays. The soil types in this area of Marlborough are much older than the Wairau flood plain, they also have much lower fertility and a much higher clay component which gives the wines more depth and structure.

Established in 1994 and named after the landmark Wither Hills range that borders the vineyards, the Wither Hills expert team grow and craft expressive wines New Zealanders know and trust to represent quality. A vivid, stylish and elegant Chardonnay. The distinctive fruit profile of nectarine, fresh grapefruit and minerality is interlaced with the spicy, cashew nut nuances of fine grained French oak. Beautifully intense and expressive.

Fragrant notes of passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit and white peach jump out of the glass, followed by hints of lemongrass and thyme. This in-your-face drop captures the essence of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Concentrated citrusy notes of lime zest, passionfruit and white peach combine with a lick of wet stones. The palate is dry and gives way to a lip-smacking, mouth-watering finish.

A tribute to the Barossa's winemaking heritage, Pepperjack is crafted using a blend of traditional techniques and modern flair. Winemaker Richard Mattner - a born-and-bred Barossa local - loves making Pepperjack wines as much as he loves drinking them, especially alongside a great steak. As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice. The palate is plush and layered, delivering concentrated dark fruits, fine tannins, and a soft, lingering finish. Pepperjack Shiraz is a true Barossa classic.
